Damn that racist Stern!
Everybody's favorite Irish lad Jermaine O'neal is saying that the NBA shouldn't put an age requirement in place because its racist. How cliche of him to say that. My favorite quote "As a black guy, you kind of think that's the reason why it's coming up. You don't hear about it in baseball or hockey. To say you have to be 20, 21 to get in the league, it's unconstitutional. If I can go to the U.S. army and fight the war at 18, why can't you play basketball for 48 minutes?"..... Hey Jermaine, the NBA is not a government run institution!!!!! That comparison sucks!!!!!

O'neal is an idiot. The NFL has an age limit and it work just fine. It also holds up in court and clarret and williams found out the hard way last year.
I also think this can be good for the college game. Though that is a 2 edged sword. We have seen college bball do just fine without the big names. Adding the big names may or may not reduce parity between the big and small schools.
i think they both come from the same distant irish clan, the oneals of dirby ireland.
